He was married to his wife, Johanna, and had two sons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Service History<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>G\u00f6tzmann was conscripted in November 1942 and assigned to Infanterie-Ersatz-Regiment 5 for training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was subsequently assigned to Infanterie-Regiment 191 before being reassigned in July 1943 to Grenadier-Regiment 211.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He currently serves as a machine gunner (MG1) within 2. Gruppe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a machine gunner, G\u00f6tzmann plays a key role in supporting the squad\u2019s firepower during field operations.
